* Frank Kohler has been named senior vice president of studio operations at Culver City-based Sony Pictures Entertainment. He will manage finance and accounting.
Kohler joined the company in 1981. He was named senior vice president and controller of the motion picture accounting group in 1986. Sony Pictures’ divisions include Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures.
