Pasadena Group Selects 2 Women of Achievement

The Magna Carta chapter of Business and Professional Women of Pasadena has selected Pasadena City Councilwoman Kathryn Nack and Beth Calleton, executive director of Planned Parenthood of Pasadena, as its Women of Achievement for 1992.
Nack, a council member since 1987, previously was a member of the Pasadena Board of Education.
She currently is president of the Tri-City Transportation Coalition, which works to solve transportation problems along the east-west corridor linking Pasadena, Glendale and Burbank.
Calleton, executive director of Planned Parenthood since 1979, has been head of the Commission on the Status of Women of Pasadena and currently is on the board of directors of the Los Angeles Regional Family Planning Council.
She is a member of the Pasadena AIDS Community Coordinating Committee and the Pasadena Unified School District Community Health Advisory Committee.
Nack and Calleton will be honored at a dinner March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pasadena.
