A 14-year-old Monte Vista High School student received cuts to his back and arm in a campus fight that led to the arrest of a 15-year-old-student Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident began about 7:30 a.m. when the two boys argued while riding on a public bus, Sheriff’s Deputy Pearl Janulewicz said. The argument escalated when the boys reached campus and a fight broke out.
After the fight, the two students apparently left campus, and the injured boy called the Sheriff’s Department from another location, said Tom Flood, school principal.
