Estate Reduces Stake in Zenith National Insurance

The estate of Eugene V. Klein has reduced its stake in Zenith National Insurance Corp. to 4.7% of the insurer’s stock.
Klein, a former Zenith National director who also once owned the San Diego Chargers football team, died in March, 1990. The executors of his estate are his wife, Joyce, and Zenith National Chairman Stanley R. Zax.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the executors said the estate sold 980,855 common shares of the Woodland Hills-based company between Feb. 11 and Feb. 28. The stock was sold from $16.125 to $16.25 a share.
The estate now owns 730,282 Zenith National shares, the filing stated.
