POLITICS AND ART: In a presidential straw poll of guests at a Laguna Art Museum fund-raiser (B3), former Massachusetts senator Paul Tsongas nabbed 46% of 210 votes cast for Democratic hopefuls. Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton was second with 25% in the admittedly unscientific balloting, said museum development director Elizabeth Mead. “Uncommitted” was the choice of 15%, ahead of former Gov. Edmund G. (Jerry) Brown’s 11%. President Bush was the favorite on 59% of 119 GOP ballots cast, with Pat Buchanan getting 26%.
