* Cassandra Mills has been named president of the black music division at Giant Records, the independent Beverly Hills-based label headed by Irving Azoff.
Mills joined Giant in 1990. She was responsible for assembling “New Jack City,” the best-selling soundtrack of 1991. She also worked on Color Me Badd’s debut album for Giant.
