In response to “A Nasty Campaign of ‘Us vs. Them,’ ” editorial, March 5:
As time goes on and Pat Buchanan’s derogatory inferences and comments are summed up and compared, I am beginning to see little difference between his beliefs and those of white supremacists. He has given cause to offend every person in this country who is not like him; basically an ultraconservative Republican, white, Christian, heterosexual male.
I fail to see where as President he would not attempt to carry out his own agenda, instead of serving the citizens, most of whom he apparently believes are misguided, second-class, worthless mongrels. It would have spared us all the anguish if he had just decided to join an exclusive private country club instead.
