Prosecutor’s Cruel Words

Prosecutor Carol J. Nelson of Ventura County says she doesn’t care “if they cut off his whole face he could still go to jail.”
Do you think she is talking about a murderer, a rapist, child molester, drug dealer?
No, she is talking about Tom Ely, a convicted embezzler who is suffering from a cancerous tumor in his face. He has been ordered to serve a one-year jail sentence, but needs outside treatment.
For her to say something so uncaring makes me ill.
