SAN DIEGO : Woman Wounded in Logan Heights

A woman was shot five times Sunday night on the front porch of her home in Logan Heights but was expected to survive after undergoing surgery, police said.
The attack occurred about 6:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of Boston Avenue. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where she was undergoing surgery late Sunday, a San Diego police spokesman said.
Police said they had no suspects or motive. The woman was shot once in the lung, twice in the stomach and twice in the right arm.
