Salvador Garcia of Mexico, winner of the New York City and Long Beach marathons, won the Rotterdam Marathon in the Netherlands in 2 hours 9 minutes 16 seconds, his personal best and the third fastest time of the year.
Countryman Isidrio Rico was second in 2:09:28. Aurora Cunha of Portugal won the women’s division in 2:29:14, followed by Suzana Ciric of Yugoslavia in 2:35:11.
