O.C. PLATFORM : Bottom Line Is Money for Education

From a health standpoint, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. I would think that a juice vending machine would be more helpful than soda pop, but at that age it’s an individual decision when you get right down to it.
During the day the kids will have the opportunity to buy more nutritious things like milk and juices.
If the bottom line was just to provide drinks, I’d say no. But money is so tight in education that if you look at it as a business partnership, it has advantages that may outweigh any disadvantages.
