Ellen M. Campbell, dean of graduate studies at Woodbury University, has been named vice president of graduate, extended studies and enrollment management at the Burbank school, President Paul E. Sago announced this week.
In her new job, Campbell will oversee graduate studies, weekend and evening colleges, financial aid, admissions and placement.
Campbell, who holds a doctorate in humanities from Syracuse University, has worked in academic administration at the University of London and Marymount College in Tarrytown, N.Y.
In 1987, she created a weekend college program at Woodbury University, an undertaking that was not new to Campbell. She had administered similar programs at two other universities. Since its creation, the program’s enrollment has increased 300%, Sago said.
Campbell also established successful evening and master’s degree programs at Woodbury, Sago said.
