Five-Year Yields Lower: Yields on five-year Treasury notes fell slightly at auction to the lowest level in two months. The average yield was 6.93%, down from 6.94% at the last auction on March 25. It was the lowest rate since five-year notes averaged 6.75% on Feb. 26. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 6.875% with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,977.10. A total of $10.3 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $22.4 billion.
