** Live, “Mental Jewelry,” Radioactive. There’s no denying that this band from York, Pa., has passion, conviction, high spiritual ideals and the tools to rock cleanly and powerfully. For a while, Live sweeps you away. But with the entire album given to clenched pounding and messianic themes, its idealism turns strident. These young ascetics are so consumed with saving the Earth (or transcending it) that they have no time for such earthy virtues as humor and delight.
