Pasadena Team Tops at Problem Solving

Ateam of four students from Pasadena High School will represent California at the Future Problem Solving Program International Conference June 12-15 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Seniors Kevin Maginn, Vikram Hatti, Thao Tran and Mari-Anne Rosario competed against 200 other California teams May 9--suggesting solutions to problems in the areas of space exploration, the glut of civil court cases, sports ethics and land use--to win the right to represent the state at the conference, where they will compete with students from all over the United States, Canada and Australia.
The team is coached by Cathy Maginn.
