The U.S. Olympic baseball team got down to the limit of 20 players by cutting pitchers Tim Davis of Florida State, Marc Valdes of Florida and Jeff Granger of Texas A&M;, second baseman Steve Rodriguez of Pepperdine and catcher Jason Varitek of Georgia Tech.
The U.S. team is 14-9 on a 30-game pre-Olympic tour.
