TWA Pilots, Creditors Talking: Trans World Airlines’ pilots and its creditors this weekend resumed negotiations over a reorganization plan after the pilots union made a counterproposal to what had been called a final offer by the creditors. Talks between the TWA branch of the Air Line Pilots Assn. and creditors had appeared on the brink of breaking down last week when the pilots said creditors made them a “take-it-or-leave” offer. On Saturday, the union made a counterproposal and the creditors responded Sunday morning with a new offer, said pilots union spokesman David Berkley, who declined to outline the proposal.
