GARDEN GROVE : Restrooms to Be Built at Sports Complex
- Share via
City officials have approved spending about $60,000 to construct public restrooms at the Chapman sports complex, where patrons for 20 years have had to rely on portable toilets provided by sponsoring athletic organizations.
The money for the project will come from the 1988 State Park Bond Act. The restrooms, which will provide four toilets at the 20-acre site near Chapman Avenue and Knott Street, are expected to be completed early next year.
The sports facility has six lighted tennis courts, two basketball courts, two arena street hockey courts, a lighted baseball field and six soccer fields.
