Volunteers Needed for UCSD Research

The UC San Diego School of Medicine is seeking volunteers to participate in research on a drug to relieve the physical discomfort brought on by menopause.
Researchers are looking for women, 21 to 65 years old, who have undergone a hysterectomy within the last four years. They must be of European descent and be involved in a stable relationship for at least two years.
The two-year study will monitor health while testing a drug, UC San Diego officials said. Health monitoring includes physical examinations, mammography, bone density scans, blood and cholesterol tests.
For more information or to volunteer call 534-7150 or 534-7348.
