Cerritos Valley Christian 17, Kilpatrick 13--Senior running back Rick Jones ran for 152 yards and a touchdown in 24 carries to lead Cerritos Valley Christian at home.
Kilpatrick (0-2) took an early 6-3 lead on a 69-yard touchdown run by quarterback Cecilo James. James added a 76-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
