South Pasadena 51, Hoover 34--Hoover (0-2) led twice in the early going, 7-0 and 14-7, but then gave up 37 consecutive points at South Pasadena. The Tigers (2-0) amassed 534 yards in total offense, 273 passing and 261 rushing.
Quarterback Nathan Dishington led Hoover (0-2) with 230 yards passing and two touchdowns. Dishington also ran for a score. Tailback David Harvey added 100 yards and two touchdowns in 15 carries.
