SANTA ANA : Shop to Benefit Hotel for Homeless
- Share via
The YWCA will hold a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. today to mark the opening of a new thrift shop to benefit its Hotel for Homeless Women.
Opened five years ago, the hotel houses women with little money to pay for shelter.
The thrift shop, located at 1408 N. Main St., will be staffed by hotel residents.
In addition to affording the women job training, a YWCA spokeswoman said, the shop is expected to raise enough money to cover much of the cost of running the hotel.
