Several Southern Methodist starters suspended because they improperly sold books will miss Saturday’s game against Baylor, and three will miss the Rice game, according to a published report.
Those suspended from Saturday’s game at Waco, Tex., include Marcello Simmons, Marcus Malonson, Richie Butler, Chad Patton, Byron Bonds, Brian Berry, Kevin Shepard, Larry Wilson and Johnathan Mumphrey, sources told the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
Berry, Shepard and Wilson will also miss the Oct. 10 game at Rice, according to the Star-Telegram.
