Speaking Up: Actor Theodore Bikel will take a speaking role in the Los Angeles Music Center Opera’s production of “Ariadne auf Naxos” coming up in December at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. He will play Major Domo in the Richard Strauss comic opera at the evening performances on Dec. 9, 12, 14 and 16.
