Justice George Adams of the Ontario, Canada, Court General Division ruled in favor of seven retired NHL stars who said the league, clubs and NHL Pension Society wrongfully took $20 million in 1980 and $2 million in 1982 from money that should have gone toward their pensions.
The players are Allan Stanley, Andy Bathgate, Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Eddie Shack, Leo Reise and Carl Brewer.
