Saugus 57, Burbank 19--Chris Johnson carried 20 times for 185 yards and scored five touchdowns on runs of 11, five, one, one, and 23 yards to lead Saugus (5-1-1, 1-1) at Burroughs High.
The Centurions took advantage of two Burbank fumbles and a low snap on a punt to build a 21-0 lead. Saugus scored touchdowns on eight consecutive possessions and rolled up 417 total yards.
Saugus quarterback Bobby Cowan completed nine of 15 passes for 153 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Brian Casey of Burbank (2-5, 0-2) was 12 for 28 for 190 yards with three touchdown passes and one interception.
