Rio Mesa 47, Hueneme 13--Don DiDomizio, Junior Liufau and David Belger each ran for more than 100 yards to lead the Spartans past the host Vikings (0-7, 0-4).
Rio Mesa (3-4, 2-2) scored the first three touchdowns, with Liufau, Belger and Demetrius Henderson running for scores. Freshman quarterback George Jones hit Ronnie Jenkins with a 25-yard pass to get Hueneme on the scoreboard with three minutes to play in the first half.
Liufau had a game-high 169 yards in 12 carries, Belger had 141 in 19 carries and DiDomizio 127 and two touchdowns in 10 carries.
Jones completed 10 of 29 passes for 177 yards, including a fourth-quarter 39-yard touchdown pass to Tyrone Brown.
Rio Mesa’s defense limited Hueneme to minus-two yards rushing.
