ACE LIFE SAVER: La Habra Police Department’s Tom Dutton will be singled out at a dinner by Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Buena Park on Friday night for the most drunk-driving arrests in the county last year: 320. Dutton says drunks often use city streets to avoid the freeways. . . . One arrest made it a special year for Dutton. The driver wrote him later: “I know that you probably feel that you were only doing your job, but to me it was a personal favor. You literally saved my life.” Says Dutton: “That has to make you feel good.”
