GET ALONG, DIANE: Beating victim Rodney G. King, who gave a surprise talk to Tustin high school students this week (A1), is in hot demand. His lawyer, Milton C. Grimes, says ABC-TV newswoman Diane Sawyer was recently at his Santa Ana Heights office for two hours, “begging” to get King on camera even just to ask him his name. . . . Grimes turned her down, saying he wants to keep King out of the TV spotlight for now and have him focus instead on schools.
