Man Found Slain in Living Room

A man was fatally shot in his San Diego home early Tuesday morning, police said.
Arthur James Smith, 45, was found shot in the back in the living room of his home in the 5200 block of Santa Margarita Street about 2 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses in other rooms of the house told police they heard a knock at the door, then Smith arguing with someone.
No suspects were in custody as the investigation continued Tuesday, police said.
