Safety Agency Probes Minivans: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration expanded its investigations into minivans made by General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp. for possible fuel fires and rear windows that may shatter. NHTSA said its probe of GM minivans includes 1990-92 Chevrolet Lumina APV, Pontiac Trans Sport and Oldsmobile Silhouette, which may have a defective fuel line connector. The agency expanded its probe of 1991-92 Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager minivans made by Chrysler, which could have rear windows that shatter.
