BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Burton Scores 24 in East L.A. Loss

Former Westchester High star James Gray racked up 24 points, eight rebounds and five steals to lead Santa Monica College to an 87-73 victory Tuesday over East Los Angeles College at Santa Monica.
With the win, the Corsairs improved to 8-4 on the season while the Huskies slipped to 7-8.
Huskies guard Isaac Burton had a game-high 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks and freshman Anthony Gonzalez added 18 points on six three-point field goals. Sophomore Craig Martin scored 23 points and collected eight rebounds for Santa Monica.
