The Brea-Olinda girls’ basketball team will play host to the four-team Orange County Challenge Friday and Saturday at Brea-Olinda High.
Friday, Brea-Olinda will play Orem (Utah) Mountain View at 6:30 p.m., and Fair Oaks Del Campo will play Capistrano Valley at 8. Defending state scoring champion Danielle Viglione is averaging 36 points for Del Campo.
Saturday, Capistrano Valley will play Mountain View at 6:30 and Brea-Olinda will play Del Campo at 8.
Brea-Olinda is ranked No. 1 in Orange County, Capistrano Valley No. 5.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for high school students with an ASB card and kids 9 to high school age. Children 8 and under will be admitted free.
The event will include a catered barbecue from 4 p.m. to 7:30 each day, $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
