I am glad you noted that liberal scholars tend to create a Jesus who is most comfortable to them. But I wish you had pointed out the obvious conclusion: that legitimate scholarship does not automatically support liberal theology. The article mistakenly assumes that it does and that conservative theologians have no facts to back them up.
