Beverly Hills Fan Co., a Woodland Hills-based marketer of ceiling fans and lighting fixtures, posted a $188,000 fiscal fourth-quarter loss, compared with a year-earlier loss of $190.
The latest loss in the quarter ended Oct. 31 came on a 4% drop in the company’s revenue, to $1.4 million from $1.46 million. Beverly Hills Fan said earnings were offset by a new “bulk sales program” that yielded smaller profit margins, relocation costs and expenses related to new-product development.
For its fiscal year, Beverly Hills Fan’s profit tumbled 72%, to $118,000 from $421,000 the previous year, and its annual revenue climbed 20%, to $7.78 million from $6.48 million.
