Thousands Stranded by Airport Strike: A strike by airport staff which has stranded thousands of air travelers in Sydney, Australia, is likely to continue until Tuesday, airline officials said. Union members voted early Sunday to stay off the job, but airline officials said some union members were reporting for work, allowing some flights to depart. Flights into and out of Sydney were halted Saturday after 300 baggage handlers, refuelers, cleaners and other support staff walked off the job in an inter-union dispute.
