Jazz bassist Art Davis, who has worked with such luminaries as John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie, will be a guest on Helen Borgers’ “Artist’s Corner” program each Sunday evening this month from 6 to 9 on radio station KLON (88.1 FM). Davis, a Costa Mesa resident who teaches at Orange Coast College, will discuss his career and introduce musical selections. The four-part series is part of the station’s observance of Black History Month.
