Selling Seniors: Senior Highlights magazine, a publication based in Laguna Hills, has recognized eight companies that have successfully marketed their services to the over-60 crowd. They include Secure Horizons, the seniors program of PacifiCare Health Services in Cypress; Southern California Gas Co.; Southern California Edison; and Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The eight successful companies will supply videos, reports and other displays during the Time of Your Life Expo in Pomona on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Los Angeles County Fairplex.

Each month, a million people turn 60, according to Senior Highlights. “Few advertisers have begun to chip away at this market,” spokeswoman Diane Turner said, but these “eight companies have successfully reached the senior population and provided them with quality products, programs and services.”
