Gangs and Ducks

It never ceases to amaze me where people’s priorities lie. In Venice the increasing gang presence went unnoticed for years until a recent incident brought it to a head. But introduce a few sick ducks, and the community rallies together as if the future of the city depends on it; which is certainly the case of the former.
Of course, both issues deserve attention. However, the plight of the ducks won’t keep me away from Venice Beach; “duck”-ing bullets will.
