VENTURA

A U.S. District Court judge has sentenced a Ventura man to pay restitution and spend four years on probation after he pleaded guilty to federal bankruptcy fraud charges, the FBI said.

Kenneth A. Green, 49, admitted to one of the charges in a five-count indictment alleging that he fraudulently listed a false Social Security number on a bankruptcy petition and falsely denied a previous bankruptcy filing, the FBI said.

The indictment was connected to three federal bankruptcy court petitions filed by Green in Los Angeles in October, 1989; August, 1990, and December, 1991. With his guilty plea, the remaining four counts were dropped, the FBI said.
