Boes, Ruggerio Commit to UCI

IRVINE — Stephanie Boes, a two-time All-Southern Section goalie from Dana Hills, and Claudia Ruggerio, a defender from Estancia, were among six players who signed letters of intent to play women’s soccer at UC Irvine, Coach Ray Smith announced Monday.
Midfielder Nicole Harris from Glendora St. Lucy’s, defender Kim Franzen from Palomar College, forward Keelyn Healy from Gig Harbor, Wash., and defender Christy Sides from Auburn, Wash., also signed with the Anteaters.
