HAL Inc., the holding company for Hawaiian Airlines, said Bruce R. Nobles has been appointed president and chief executive of the two companies.
Nobles, 46, succeeds John Ueberroth, who will continue as chairman of the Honolulu-based airline.
Nobles is a 27-year veteran of the industry and has headed Pan Am Shuttle Inc., Trump Shuttle Inc. and L’Express Inc.
Jan R. Cloyde has been elected executive vice president and manager of cash management for First Interstate Bank of California.
Cloyde is responsible for overseeing the large corporate cash management accounts of U.S.-based companies, including sales, customer service and account analysis; sales and service to middle-market and small business accounts in California, and coordination of sales activities through First Interstate’s 13 Western state territory.
Cloyde joined First Interstate in 1984.
