Xircom Signs Marketing Accord with Olivetti

Xircom, a Calabasas maker of products that link personal computers with computer networks, said it has signed an agreement calling for big Italian computer manufacturer Olivetti to sell Xircom products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Terms of the one-year agreement were not disclosed.
Xircom said that Olivetti would purchase its products through local distributors and resell them to Olivetti mobile computer customers.
