Back Order: Emporio Armani Express Restaurant always had a front door. Now, the restaurant at South Coast Plaza is getting a back door.
That is, a back door as in one that enters from the parking lot, not the mall’s common area. The new door will allow the restaurant to remain open after the mall closes.
The restaurant, which shares space with the Emporio Armani clothing store, also has applied for a liquor license and will add a back patio and live music, spokeswoman Megan Thompson said. The back door is scheduled to open in mid-October.
