CAMARILLO : Lease Approved for Airport Restaurant
- Share via
Passengers and pilots traveling through Camarillo Airport will soon be able to sip coffee and munch muffins while awaiting flights, thanks to an agreement allowing a new cafe at the terminal.
The Board of Supervisors this week approved a five-year lease with a Los Angeles-based food service company to operate a diner-style restaurant at the airport.
McCarthy Food Shops, which owns and operates a cafe and gift shop at Union Station in Los Angeles, plans to open the restaurant in mid-October, co-owner Kathy Mills said.
Plans for the cafe include a screened-in patio and dining room where a full menu, including beer and wine as well as breakfast, will be available all day, Mills said.
