Partnership Buys Hawaiian Resort: An investment partnership that includes Hilton Hotels Corp. has agreed to purchase the 1,241-room Hyatt Regency Waikoloa resort on the island of Hawaii. Hilton and partners Colony Capital and Pan Global did not reveal the purchase price of the 61-acre resort, which was completed in 1988 at a cost of nearly $400 million. Beverly Hills-based Hilton will manage the property. In a separate development, Hilton and Century City-based Caesars World Inc. have filed a joint application to operate a riverboat casino in Michigan City, Indiana.
