LAKE FOREST : Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Train

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a train Tuesday night, the Sheriff’s Department said.
The accident happened about 7:50 p.m. at the overpass on Lake Forest Drive between Muirlands Boulevard and Jeronimo Road, Lt. Jay Mendez said.
Investigators had not identified the victim, who died on impact, or learned how the person came to be on the tracks, Mendez said.
