YORBA LINDA : Health Care Is Topic at Nixon Library

President Clinton’s health care speech to the nation will be the focus of a town meeting at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace at 5:45 tonight.
After viewing Clinton’s address on a giant-screen TV in the library’s theater, a panel of health care experts will give their analyses, and the public will be allowed to comment.
The panel, moderated by KCET-TV’s Hugh Hewitt, is scheduled to include Dr. Terence Maloy, past president and current legislative committee member of the Orange County Medical Assn.; Richard Lipeles, executive vice president of PacifiCare Health Systems; Hubert C. Perry, board of trustees member for Not-For-Profit Hospitals, Washington; Michael D. Stephens, president and chief executive officer, Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, and Michael E. Berumen, senior vice president, PM Group Life Insurance Co., Newport Beach.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. The library is at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd.
