Gas Prices Continue Slide: Big supplies and a seasonal drop in demand pushed the average cost of a gallon of gas down 1.65 cents to $1.1508, according to analyst Trilby Lundberg, who compiles the twice-monthly survey. Prices averaged across all grades of gas have dropped nearly 3 cents a gallon in the last month, she said. The latest Lundberg Survey of 10,000 gas stations found the nationwide average, including taxes, at self-serve pumps was $1.0802 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, $1.1953 for mid-grade unleaded and $1.2737 for supreme unleaded.
