No Doubt Trout Put Up Decent Fight

Storm’n Norman had a short career in Irvine Lake.

The 12-pound rainbow trout was planted last week with a $500 tag good only through Thanksgiving weekend. It was redeemed Sunday by Dee Brown of Mira Loma. She used green Power Nuggets, six-pound-test line and a two-pound leader.

Norman’s successor is the Lassen Lasher, a Northern California rainbow also worth $500 if it is caught on the day after Christmas.
